You ever have that feeling that the clock is ticking, the days are passing, and you have no idea where your life is headed? And everywhere you look people are settling down, having babies and kicking ass in their careers.
Sometimes life feels like a race. And we’re all rushing to the finish line, hoping to acquire a family, success, and piles of money along the way. And if it feels like we’re lagging behind, it’s understandably frustrating and disheartening.
But what I’ve learned is that life’s not meant to be that way. And other people’s achievements have literally nothing to do with me.
We’re all spiritual beings having a human experience. And we’re all here for our own unique purposes that have nothing to do with the outside world, and everything to do with our inner world. We all need to learn our own lessons and grow in different ways.
So maybe the lack of direction in your life is something you need to experience to learn and grow from later.
Or maybe, you haven’t been as successful in the material world (yet 😉) because you’ve been too busy delving into the spiritual side of life and searching for answers.
I speak from experience because these are the things I’m personally drawn to. I have a deep need to learn and understand the mysteries of the Universe and to help others understand them as well.
And there’s definitely people in the world who think that this is a waste of time and the energy would be better spent going to college and getting a stable career with a 401k and paid vacations, but that’s never felt like the right path for me.
It’s only recently that I’ve made my peace with the fact that not everyone approves or understands the way I choose to live my life, and I feel truly free for the first time.
So, just remember that it’s okay for you to march to the beat of your own drum and do what feels right for you.
It’s okay if you haven’t figured everything out yet.
Just experiment and experience life and listen to those gut feelings if something doesn’t feel like a good fit for you.
You have the power to make your own rules and create any life you want!
